Cook Up “A lil’ this- A lil’ that!”

“Jump up and down and move it all around. Shake your head to the sound, Put your hand to the ground!” 🎶 Haha, yes-it’s weird I’m starting off a post about cookware, with lyrics to a song, but let me explain. These lyrics belong to the song entitled, Mambo No. 5, and friends… to me cooking-is basically like dancing the mambo! The three reasons why being: 1) sometimes depending on what you’re cooking, you have to be fast paced like dancing the mambo. 2) The first time I heard this song, it was from watching the 2000 hit movie from ABC, “Timeshare”. Where I fell in love with the idea of the art of cooking and then moving your hips. (You have to watch to understand more!) 3) Last but not least, my hubby! While mi cariño, is not Cuban, he is from the Latin Culture-just like the Mambo dance is- and he has introduced me to a wide range of dances and how to have fun with them! We also end up dancing in the kitchen a lot while cooking! Lol. All three of these reasons, is why I feel like the “Mamba” represents cooking-at least to me.

With that being said, while I like “dancing the mamba”, I like to have a nice pan, to help speed the cooking process up a bit and make a delicious meal. (S/o to the hubs for new kitchenware!) We found this 12’ Classic Nonstick Frying Pan, with this gorgeous metallic green finish, and we love it! I don’t know if we’re in love more with the fact that you can just wipe the pan clean and don’t have to deal with build up grease or the fact that food doesn’t stick and is so easy to flip! (Will definitely need to make some omelettes soon.) We found our pan at Home Goods, but I linked the same pan in my LIKEtoKNOW.it! If you love to cook (and getting in the grove of dancing while cooking…) I definitely recommend getting this pan for your kitchen! Would make the perfect present for a newlywed couple, anniversary, or house warming!
